Introduction

The Centre for Research Excellence & Incubation Management (CREIM) at UniSZA promotes research and innovation. Originally established as the Research Management, Innovation & Commercialization Centre (RMIC), CREIM evolved from the university's earlier identity as Universiti Darul Iman Malaysia (UDM) in 2007, tracing its roots back to 2002 when it was the Research and Consultancy Centre (PPI) at Sultan Zainal Abidin Religious College (KUSZA).

CREIM aims to position the institution as a world-class centre for higher learning by enhancing academic excellence and producing impactful research outcomes. It operates through four key divisions: Research Grant Management, Intellectual Property (IP) and Commercialization, Research Support, and Administration and Finance, all designed to elevate the university's research and innovation efforts.
